    I think that it depends on the IHD. Chameleon IHDs show the total index reading, but I have seen others that use a proxy gas CV and convert the gas reading into kWhs.
    Some do both kWh and meter index, I've not seen one so far that only does kWh for gas, but I'm sure it is possible, hence my use of 'usually' in my post :smile:

    1. As long as it still operates thru change of supplier and has been commissioned when smarts installed.
    2.  As long as it doesn't break ( no-one seems to get a replacement f.o.c)
    and 3. If you can find it !!     :smile:
