UKPC & DCNL Final Notice of Debt Recovery

Hi,
I have received 3 letters this year from DCBL regarding a parking charge dated 17/07/2015.

1. Notice of Debt Recovery - 15/03/2021
2. Final Reminder - 06/04/2021
3. Final Notice of Debt Recovery - 04/05/2021

The total charge is now £160. I am tempted to pay as I am nervous that this could be taken further and to just have some closure, but before I do, I just wanted to know what other peoples thoughts were please? The reason for asking is that I can't see a thread of anyone who has received this latest letter.

The letter at the bottom does state "This case is not subject to High Court or Baliff Action".

Thanks in advance

This will be statute bared on 17th July this year so you need to stretch this out beyond that date.  Read the group thread about DCBL and I think you will find some posts by one of the forum regulars @Coupon-mad who outlines a plan to engage the solicitors and PPC until it becomes too late.

Just read any other 2015 PCN thread and string it out. Not difficult, reply slowly to every letter, asking another question.

@Coupon-mad thank you. I am reading your thread (very helpful) and sending a SAR to UK Parking Control. I guess I will wait and see what happens on the back of this. Whilst waiting to hear back, would I need to contact DCBL to let them know of my request at all?

No point waiting , a court claim may happen

Reply to dcbl , denying the alleged debt and so them to clarify the reasons behind their letter , you are trying to string it out until August , past the 6 year deadline , the SAR won't stop dcbl , so slowly string it out , no ignoring dcbl

I don't understand why you have found nothing here about your latest letter.

I just stuck "Final Notice of Debt Recovery" (include the quotes) into the forum's search facility and it allegedly found 9403 occurrences of that string. The most recent one was earlier today -

Read a few others if you wish, but they are just debt collectors letters.

I don't know what the others think, but I would hold off sending the SAR to the scammers because you don't want to alert them just yet.
Instead I suggest you string this out with the powerless debt crawlers so you can get past the 17th of July, or at the very least, get at least to 30 days before this date, before they refer it back to the scammers.

As advised, ask DCBL what this is about as this is the first you have heard about it. Ask other inane questions such as what authority do they have to act. Ask for a breakdown for the figures claimed. Ask about payment plans. Anything at all, a question or two at a time to get you past the end of June when you will then be on the home straight using a denial of debt, seeking debt advice, put proceedings on hold for thirty days. The latter should not be done to soon though.

I have no idea why you are sending a SAR to UKPC and rushing to contact them, and are not SLOWLY REPLYING TO DCBL.

Whilst waiting to hear back, would I need to contact DCBL to let them know of my request at all?
Obviously, that is the whole point of the tactic of stringing it out with slow replies to DCBL!

If you don't keep DCBL busy with replies and requests for evidence, what's to stop them passing it from DCBL Recovery to DCBLegal and the latter filing a claim at the eleventh hour, all because you have been contacting UKPC, which the 'reply slowly to every DCBL letter' tactic isn't telling you to do (yet).

Stringing DCBL along is stringing DCBL along, not firing stuff off to the parking firm and leaving DCBL's wheels to turn, and issue a claim in time.
