You'll get a very fast response, but it won't be what you are looking for. They will send you a pro forma to complete asking whether or not you were the driver and requiring copies of your passport or driving licence as proof of ID. Don't send copies of those.  You will then need to take this up with the ICO.  Read other Highview/CP Plus/Group Nexus threads to understand this ploy and what others have done.   This won't be a quickie!
I might just jump pre-empt them and reach out to ICO in advance stating that I'm aware of request from Group Nexus for unjust forms of ID in order to provide SAR and that I'd like their advice - can then just forward on directly to Group Nexus to let them know.

All that is needed is a copy of your V5 .... this confirms the information they have already otherwise they could not have contacted you. Plus a redacted copy of a utility bill

I sent a redacted mortgage letter with initial email - lets see what they come back with. I guess my immediate concern was that I'd hit a blackhole where they didn't even have an autoresponse to say, we have your email we will get back to you in 10 days

They won't.  The ICO have significantly bigger fish to fry than piddling parking charge issues and they won't accede to and execute action on speculative requests. Why would they?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes, ask the ICO using the points above
Nexus is an unknown quantity.  I don't think the ICO would ever suggest sending such sensitive material, they of all people know the dangers

You can ask the ICO for advice , but better to then report Nexus after 2 failures to provide the data due to their ludicrous requests

I would have provided 2 or 3 forms of I D with your wife's name , address and date unredacted , including a copy of the claim form as the clincher as one of them

Paragraph 5 seems a lot better now

Yes agree - I'll play their games :)

I have a slight problem with the Claim Form :) - My Wife tore it into 6 pieces thinking it was another scam letter - It has been sellotaped back together - Lucky she mentioned it as doing it.

    Thanks

Ha ha , she is not the only person to make that mistake , we have seen worse , although why anyone would destroy legal papers from a government office is beyond us. DVLA , HMRC , DWP , all legit government agencies , as are HM courts

Default CCJ with 6 years of credit rating issues follow those actions in many cases , which cannot be fixed

So funny, of course these daft claims deserve such action

When you win, you will get a letter from the court ..... ask your wife to frame it
