Glad to hear that the journey back was good and that you had someone to pop in and put heating on in preparation for your return too, how lovely!

    Hope the theatre was good!

    Thanks guys!

I'm currently sitting on a train waiting to leave to the North of England to visit DD for the weekend. We are booked in to see a performance of The Nutcracker at one of the local theatres on Saturday and I'm really looking forward to this.

I've not really done much since I went to see The Bodyguard a couple of weeks ago as my back has been playing up still I cancelled a dentist appointment and my hairdresser twice as I had to journey up to London and it felt a bit much.

I had my MRI scan last Thursday and had a chat with the consultant Apparently I've fractured a vertebrae in my mid back and also put out a few discs in the lumbar region the fracture will heal in time and it hasn't damaged any spinal cords or nerves there I can walk fine

The discs are the most sore and will have to be managed going forward with appropriate exercise and physio I'm booked in next Thursday to see the doctor at my GP's Muscular/Skeletal clinic and will discuss further then The back does feel like it's improving gradually fand I've been doing some very gentle Pilates this week but no gym yet.

    MSE SCRIMPY THINGS

Not a lot here to report - I did buy several pairs of M&S linen wide leg trousers ready for summer as they sell out quickly in a long length and last summer's pairs are too big now. I only ended up paying half price as they were on 20% discount plus I had Sparks loyalty voucher and a £25 voucher from the M&S Rewards Club. I also bought two pairs of jeans from Vinted at a good price as my current jeans are too big.

    WEIGHT

I've lost 4lbs in the two weeks I've been back from Scotland so lost the weight I put on and a little bit more as well. I'm currently on my last 5mg Mounjaro pen and will go down to 2.5mg when this has finished.

Ouch SSG no wonder you've been sore! Glad you've had a diagnosis and know what you're dealing with, and a plan is in place for physio etc.

    Ouchy ouch ouch!

Gentle specialist Pilates got me mobile after I ruptured 3 discs about 18 years ago. I'm reminded that I made DH drive my Smart car up to the door of the physiotherapists offices.

What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?
