So I am guessing I continue with the AOS if I don’t have that confirmation prior to the 18th?You must, yes, because the court doesn't know it's going to be cancelled.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is not over until you receive a discontinuance
So do the AOS and buy the time extension , do not miss the deadline to file a defence if no discontinuance arrives , so keep going unless told otherwise , officially1 -
Good news till32.
You will get a notice of discontinuance from DCBLegal through the post but after two or three days check on MCOL to make sure it has definitely been discontinued.2 -
Well done. You can also look on the PPC's website to check the PCN's current status to see if the MOTO cancellation instruction has been actioned - but this can't be taken as official confirmation, just continue with the legal process until formal notification is received. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
