    Hello all!

The day started off promising - woke up to blue skies but since I've come back from Tesco it's been raining! Was hoping to get out to wash the bike but I'm now making bread for H's sandwiches and admiring my Christmas pudding.

    Hope everyone enjoys their Sundays,

Big hugs to everyone feeling poorly, or with poorly people to look after. Hilstep, I'll say a prayer for your mum and I hope she's well enough next week to have her feeding help.

I've just iced a christmas cake that I made for a friend. Oddly as it's her birthday today, I've made it as her birthday present. I still have mine to do, and mince pies to make.......

    Hi all

Quiet here today:confused: everyone must be off doing christmassy things.

Had a lovely day out with mum and dad and the concert was fantastic - waved my flag like a proper Brit!:D We stayed in an apartment in Manchester which was really good - much cheaper than 2 hotel rooms and far more space. Just dropped the folks off and now plan on a really lazy afternoon - maybe watch scrooge on telly (thanks N9eav) and some x factor from last night.

Taplady those photos are really scary - I know you had a witness from the first accident so hope you do from the second too - people should not get away with causing so much damage and distress- will he get some decent compensation to cover your car costs?

JackieO lovely to hear your news good luck with the checkupicon7.gif

Right best go and do nothing then:rotfl:
    Have a lovely sunday all
    Hugs Nels x

Nelski - we're not sure about the first one yet as its being sorted ATM by the police. Also still waiting for the police to take a statement about the second one yet, not heard a thing from them or the other party involved.

Just been trekking round the shops trying to get a swimsuit for DD(13).

DH suggested "helpfully" that I order it online - two weeks before Christmas - and we want it for Wednesday!!!! Not a good idea.

Will have a look in a sports shop tomorrow and see if they have anything.

DD is working till 5p.m. so will have a late Sunday dinner then. Roast gammon, chicken breast for those who will not eat gammon and pointed cabbage, broccoli, organic carrots ,mushy peas and mashed potato (for Dd's brace) with home made cheese sauce.

As I still have only half an oven then roast potatoes are out as I cannot find space.

Having a few minutes on here before dashing around cooking.

Elona - check at your local swimming pool when the swimming club are there, they have costumes for sale all year round and cheaper than sports shops for latest styles.
