Vaccination programme seems to be weird in many places with people in real need not being offered and given to other whom might not qualify yet for it. In my case and my wife.. Been offered twice the vaccine in Feb and now in May. Both 31 and 29 with no medical history, perfectly healthy. I hope they used the jabs for some who really need them.
Why on earth would you not accept.

They want it offered to those in greater need first.
But it is important that second vax are done and first vax were slowed to allow second ones to be given.

No guarantee the position will be any different when it is offered again, hopefully before the 12 week window closes.

Text received today for 2nd to be done next week. 11 weeks and a day between.
As of interest - will the vaccine place be full of those having 2nd dose or mix between 1st and 2nd dose?

At the moment across the country it looks like about 80% second dose and 20% first, but might be different locally.
I got that info from the governments dashboard.

I am a volunteer  at a vaccine hub , and we appear to have at the moment dedicated days for 2nd doses , When the 2nd doses started to come in  end feb  they were mixed with those having the first dose

At our GP led clinics, people due their second in a particular week are  booked first and then second doses fill the remains places. Pfizer is mainly second doses and AZ is around 50/50.
AZ at mass vac centres is about 60/40 first doses.

Couldn’t find anything online about this - asking on behalf of a friend.

What is the minimum gap between Covid vaccine and able to do a blood test without it affecting the results? She requires blood tests and due for her 1st vaccine this month as she’s 40 next month

Be helpful to know what the blood test is for.

I don’t know how the vaccine would effect the results unless you are testing for covid antibodies. In which case, having had the vaccine may or may not show an increase in antibodies as some people develop t-cell immunity, which wouldn’t show in a standard anybody test.
