Just surprised to be offered it so early was expecting 11 or 12 weeks0

Mum had her 2nd Pfizer one after 5 weeks1 -
Time scales are supply dependent. Initially the period was stretched out to vaccinate as many as possible.0

I was offered my second jab for today, though it was strictly 9-5 injections this time round so our surgery is clearly a funny place, I got to decline (only had my my first jab last month!).
My brother who is mid 30's and wheelchair bound hasn't even had his first jab yet! and no clue as to when he might get it.
I do feel for him as he really has no idea how long he could be kept waiting just for 1st jab, despite him and his partner keep enquiring and told they can't get it at our surgery. No clue on dates for the disabled, how wrong.0 -
Mine was 6 weeks...depends on demand at your doctors0

I’ve spoken to people who didn’t take up an 8 week appointment, then fell ill and couldn’t have their next offered appointment, then unluckily had an appointment at a clinic that was cancelled and were in a scramble to get within the 12 weeks guideline.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Mine was booked in for exactly 12 weeks after the first and then hit a text to say they had cancelled it and I now needed to book my second one again at an earlier date. So mine is now 10 weeks since first.0
