Why would you not take it?
Originally it was to be 21 days. It was only extended to allow them to give the 1 st vax to more people than 2 vax to fewer people.1 -
Had 2nd jab today, 9 weeks0

Had my first Jab 23rd February,
2 of my work colleagues had their 1st jab 1 & 2 weeks before me at same DR surgery.
One had their 2nd last Thursday and other on 6th may so I should get my call next week0 -
Vaccination programme seems to be weird in many places with people in real need not being offered and given to other whom might not qualify yet for it. In my case and my wife.. Been offered twice the vaccine in Feb and now in May. Both 31 and 29 with no medical history, perfectly healthy. I hope they used the jabs for some who really need them.0

They're offering jabs to anyone over 40 in England so you might as well have just booked. If you book for a few weeks time it probably won't be significantly in advance of when you'll be offered anyway. Where in the UK do you live?mustiuc said:Vaccination programme seems to be weird in many places with people in real need not being offered and given to other whom might not qualify yet for it. They want it offered to those in greater need first.JamoLew said:

You have no control over who is and who isn’t offered “your” dose.Marvel1 said:

Probably, but they felt they didn't want it (yet) and that's their choice.JamoLew said:

Same with people in work keep asking me why I haven't bothered signing up to a reserve it - none of their business, also I'm not in a rush.0
