Vaccination card

When I went for my first jab, I wasn't given anything to prove I'd had it, such as the little card with the batch number on it which I've seen friends have been given. I just walked out of the vaccination centre without paperwork, without a card. I'm sure there's a computerised record kept centrally, but I do wonder if I should have been given something to keep with me (apart from the vaccine itself). Has everyone else had a vaccination card?

No card. I am in Scotland1

I lost mine for the first jab, but as all the info is online they gave me a new one with all the details when I went for my second one.
Just ask them. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
Yes, but it was replaced at our second vaccination with a 'slightly less' scrappy piece of card. I read about NHS apps that will prove your vaccinations but... we're in our late 60s, avoid our surgery at all costs, haven't been there for 5+ years and have no idea what they're talking about!#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3661

The cards my Husband and I were given had QR code stickers with our details on.
There is an NHS app and just read that vaccination details are on that and could act as covid vaccine passport, but this could well be purely speculation at this pointMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

Wasnt given anything when they came out to do the vaccines in my home.1

I had mine at gp. It was only when I got home, I realised I hadn't been given a card ☹️
I'm going to enquire when they text me to ring to arrange my second jab. How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)1 -
Your vaccinations are all recorded on your NHS records.
No real need for a little bit of card.

I also lost my card after my first vaccination but I’m not worried at all. I logged into my patient access account to see my medical records and it’s clearly stated on there. They wouldn’t just give you a vaccine and not put it onto your medical records.2

Thank you, all. Pleased to see it’s not just me without a card.0
