I work from home in the mornings, so five days a week I'm online from around 9am to around 1.30pm. I use a mobile broadband with 20Gb monthly allowance, and the only time I've been anywhere near using that was before I'd configured the PC to know I'm on a metered connection and it was trying to download some big updates.
Thanks for the answers - this is a genuine question - I guess I am trying to work out what 160Gb would do ?
I reckon that I could use 10Gb per month and that would be using my phone constantly
Well at 100GB data you're pretty much in almost unlimited in all but name. Even with
video streamed in high quality you could manage around 50 hours per
month (depending on the source). Chances are you don’t need that much,
or would be fine with medium quality, which gives you up to around 150
hours.
Of course its moot if you have a crap Vodafone signal where you are really From the website: Usually £20 (£16.66 exc. VAT) per month for 20GB plan, resulting in 8x data over 24 month contract. Offer ends 27th May 2021.
I use lots when I'm at home (but thats because both myself and my wife share the home wifi) and almost non when I'm out and about using a mobile phone as I seldom feel the need to play games or stream stuff when I'm out
I only spend about £25 a year on my Paygo sim as again I dont feel the need to keep phoning people when I'm out and about.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
