    That's interesting....

2 min reading and looking back to the appeal that was sent, the web link to their Email to check the status is for "BRITPARK LTD"

So now have 3 totally separate companies dealing with it...they really do have a identity crisis...
I know, big joke but it's possible that all their car parks suffer this problem.

I have seen a contract with this company where they have redacted their name and the so called landowner.  For both, the reacted names are just first names and no officer from either company can be found.  All to do with contract law

The big problem is that they are reluctant to show the contract in any shape or form and hide it from all to see quoting client landowner confidentiality.

They know that it will have to be shown in court, but push on in the hope that people just pay up out of fear. Even then they hide, tamper etc the contract in court, pass it on to some poor rent by the hour legal to argue in front of a judge, whilst they sit in comfort out of the firing line & just move on to the next victim.

Do a forum search using 'Britannia &' plus the name if the site or the town/city of the parking event. Use the ampersand as the search seems to function better that way. Alternatively use Google with 'Britannia town/city site contract MSE' in the search box.

See if either brings up a copy of the contract.

It's not as simple as the OP thinks.

Britannia could be OK because Britannia Parking Group Ltd trade as Britannia Parking.  That's OK.

The conflict of names only has legs in court, IMHO, if they've got one Ltd company name on the signs and a different Ltd Company on the NTK or landowner contract.  e.g. we've seen cases where the NTK said Britannia Parking Group Ltd' but the landowner authority was in the name Britannia Parking Services Ltd.

The issue is that one Ltd company cannot be a trading name of another Ltd company.

I know and understand what you are saying Coupon-mad, but on Companies House they are all listed separately..e.g.

    Britannia parking Ltd
    Britannia parking Group Ltd
    Britpark Ltd

Your contract will be with the company on the signs... Britannia Parking Group Ltd

The NTK saying that the creditor is... Britannia Parking Ltd

    Or am I missing something?

That's not what your first post said:

My Daughter received NTK - PCN (ANPR) in Brighton & on the signs has the words Managed by.
    "Britannia Parking Group"
The NTK has the creditor as.
    "Britannia Parking"

They don't state the Ltd bit on the signs or NTK only on the Companies house page...does it say that.

So as I keep telling you, that is OK.  They are allowed to call themselves 'Britannia Parking'.

You are missing the fact that Companies House lists Limited companies but they are allowed to use a trading name (not 'Ltd').  This is what I said before and you are missing the importance of the ''Ltd'' or 'Limited':

Britannia could be OK because Britannia Parking Group Ltd trade as Britannia Parking.  That's OK.

Yeah I get it now, thanks Coupon-mad ...the problem is that l' am looking way too hard for mistakes. I know that it's not a stopper, but it's still something to use, especially when it comes to the contract at Popla & court.

This just shows how corrupt & unregulated the industry is.
1st Appeal sent well within the 28 days  confirmation received saying wait for reply to the appeal & today received a final notice and also a debt crawling letter at the same time whilst still in the appeal process.
Compliant to the BPA is in order even if nothing is done at least it highlights what they are doing.
