Good news is vets bill was only £40 so not as nearly as bad as I expected. Bad news is putting ear drops in the cats ears, a job I have given to my husband so the cat doesn't hate me 🤣🤣🤣.
Still in track now to get the marbles card paid off this month 😃On the long journey to debt freedom...here we go....

£40 doesn’t seem too bad to be honest. Good luck trying to administer the drops! Cats are squirmy!

😂😂 yeah they are. They thankfully classed the appointment as his health checkup which was already paid for in his healthy pet club costs so we just had to pay for the drops thankfully.LittleMissDetermined said:£40 doesn’t seem too bad to be honest. If he needs any additional meds, it's worth checking online as you can just get the prescription from the vets and then fulfil it by an online vet meds company for a fraction of the price. I paid £90 for some pain meds for my old dog at the vets (with my health plan discount applied!) and then found I could have bought the same online for £20Life gets in the way...PADding is addictive...Saving's better than spending...My savings diary - Now for a healthier, wealthier me2025 1p challenge #41 | Cash envelope challenge #01 | SPC #017EF £1000/£1000 | Sabbatical £3677/£60001

Hey everyone
Today I paid off my second credit card 😁😁 have managed to clear £1900 off it since the end of April. So chuffed right now.
Next I will start working on my emergency fund and saving a little more for christmas as we spent a little more than planned on our recent holiday so want to make sure we have plenty to cover Christmas.
