They ask for your annual income as part of the application, I was not approved when my monthly income was slightly below £1750 but was when it was slightly above.colsten said:
HSBC does not require that you have a monthly income of £1,800 (or £1,750, actually). They merely state that, in order to be eligible for their Advance account, you need to pay in a minimum of £1,750 a month, or £10,500 over 6 months. You can easily achieve this by cycling money between your HSBC and a current account held elsewhere.
So I understand what they state, but from other posts I'm not alone in finding out that their requirements are more specific.0 -
I forgot to mention they sent me another email about my uber eats voucher which I had already redeemed about a week after the first one. Not sure if it was a duplicate or not as didn't bother clicking the link.

Maybe you got mine ;-) I phoned the marketing company as I'd not received it, they are getting back within 10 days...miller said:I forgot to mention they sent me another email about my uber eats voucher which I had already redeemed about a week after the first one. They didn't, I chased them for a few months and each time it was "we'll get back to you within 10 days". Eventually I got an message through hsbc with an uber email & clicking that said to login to claim my voucher. But then after logging in, it said the voucher had already been claimed. They said they'll get back to me with a new code, but then the next day sent me a message saying I needed to contact uber.phillw said:

After finding it impossible to contact uber, I just complained to HSBC and they gave me £20 cash. I probably should have pushed for compensation, but I didn't really want the uber eats voucher anyway.
