So if my car is waxed( planning on doing shortly), and I then use Tardis to de-tar my car, which will mainly be at the lower part of the car.... would I then have to use a clay bar to remove the wax from the upper car?

that’s because I would have removed the wax from
the lower car with the Tardis, leaving the upper car’s wax on as I wouldn’t have touched up there with the Tardis

if that makes any sense at all!
God no, just apply more wax where you've used the Tardis.
Won't matter if you go overlap the old wax with the new one, once you buff it off you won't notice.

FWIW I don't wax our white cars, no reward to it means no point IMO.
There are some waxes in the snowfoam and shampoo I use, that's all they get.
So no re-applying wax after Tardis.
Just saying waxing isn't obligatory after Tardis, you're free to leave the car unwaxed.
Taking the aesthetic of having a freshly waxed car aside the main reward for an LSP is better protection as well as making it easier to clean.
