Was the signage adequately lit?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

I can go and check but I do not think so. I just know that difference between the size of letters is substantial or maybe light was broken I do not know...1

I don't agree with parking operator's claiming signage is adequate and there is no evidence that it was lit because the only ohotographs provided to POPLA are taken in broad daylight. This is not evidence; in fact the signage would be shrouded in darkness at night. because on entry it says 3 HOURS MAXIMUM STAY ONLY in large letters, then in smaller font ''see notices in car park for terms and conditions and data use. I provided pictures in my Popla appeal.Operator's evidence pictures are done during day light and after Midnight the only fairly visible part is that in 3 hours maximum stay.Lord Dennings red hand rule was not met and POPLA cannot assume how the signs would look at night, being an evidence-based service. as it is obvious from my entrance picture.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi everybody.
I received Popla decision, appeal was successful, mainly on more points, but the one which was pinpointed was that they failed to provide evidence that signs are clearly visible in the dark, so there was no need to write more or something like that. Wanted to copy it, but their page is not working now, so just briefly.
Thank you very much for your help.8 -
Nice one, very well done. 👍Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Well done
That is the second time you have seen a PPC off.
Please take a little time to complete the consultation to make this whole system fairer for the motorist like yourself. Thank you.

Please also write to your MP using Jenni's letter. We need to make our voice heard and to stop these unfair practices. Thank you.

Hi all, I received letter from UKPC to informed me that I do not need to do anything because of Popla's decision. Well I filled in questionnaire in link Snakes Belly posted, not sure Jenni's letter as for writing to my MP, I feel I just word it based on my experience and some suggestions so that other drivers do not have to pay fines there. Thank you all for your help.2

Well done on your win, and also for responding to the consultation. Using your own personal experience in your complaint to your MP is good, but we also need to get the message across that the MHCLG is doing the opposite of what Sir Gregg Knight intended when he introduced the Parking Bill in 20019.
Sir Gregg and MPs across all parties wanted to restrict the excesses of this unregulated industry, not allow them to legalise fake add on debt collection fees that the parking companies have not actually incurred, so please include at least that point as well.I married my cousin.
