Parking after midnight

Hi guys. In the past I got good advice and got ticket this time because I parked after midnight in Exeter retail park. I stayed 23mins as I was feeling sick and sleepy so made emergency stop as seen sign of McDobalds just in case I need toilet. Signage said free 3 hours parking and read T&C... Well I did not inside as was unwell but came back after received in post to pay £60 and it was there no parking after midnight till 5am. Should I appeal or simply ignoruje until possible court case and them mention mitigating factors?

Whether you appeal or not is up to to, but please inform that choice by reading the newbies thread. Also read this and complain to your MP.

The advice to ignore has not been given here since the law changed in 2012.
I suggest that you appeal using the template in blue text you will find in the sticky thread for NEWBIES. Send the appeal unaltered from The Keeper.
Do not reveal the driver's identity. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper, who are two different people in law.
If you are ever taken ill again whilst driving, stop on a public road even if there are yellow lines, as long as there are no kerb blips or prohibiting signs.

Take in the advice from above, and complain to the retail park owner.if they genuinely didnt want vehicles in after a certain time they would put a gate/barrier on the site. Was the Mc Donald's open at the time the vehicle entered the retail park area??From the Plain Language Commission:

Really? I do not want people parking on my driveway, should I put a barrier up?

But your driveway isn't an invitation for any random to park on it, it doesn't double up as a car park for use by the public at any time of the day or night.D_P_Dance said:if they genuinely didnt want vehicles in after a certain time they would put a gate/barrier on the site.
Really? I do not want people parking on my driveway, should I put a barrier up?Anyway, I would have thought your mansion would have 12 foot high wrought iron, gold tipped gates, and surely your footman would ensure none of the unwashed pass through them? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Should I appealYes, as the NEWBIES thread tells you.or simply ignore until possible court case and them mention mitigating factors? No. I remember your win from last time but why would you want to let a case go to court and not appeal it as you are familiar with the NEWBIES thread and know what the appeal template looks like.PRIVATE 'PCN'?
