    Just been to Barclays.
Can’t apply for a credit card in branch and customer data isn’t shared across.
The Barclays card has been incorporated in the Barclays Bank App. However, they are two separate entities under the same name “Barclays”
Yep, I've been saying this all day but some folks (not you) seem to think they know best even though like you, I've actually asked so already knew factually that they'd say this.

Least it's now verified, a second time for others' benefit.

Then why didn't you just say this when I asked earlier how you were so sure of your assertions?

You stated something as a fact without any qualification to say how you knew this to be the case - I was merely trying to extract that information. I didn't "think I knew best" at all, and at no time did I disbelieve you, I just wanted to know how you knew.

People make a lot of statements of "fact" on these forums which are based on nothing but their guesses and assumptions.

Barclays internal score only calculates your eligibility for their pre-approved offers such as loans and overdrafts.

I stated as a fact, because it was factual. You were arguing so I suggested you go into Barclays & ask. I didn't need to elaborate as I'd already stated the process.

Anyway, it's quite irrelevant now - the OP knows the process and as I said in my first reply, if they bank with Barclays it'd be prudent to look elsewhere where the bank provides their own credit card, such as Nationwide or LBG ;)

Correct, you'll see those under your pre-selected offers in online banking. The amounts are usually guaranteed so if it suggests you're eligible for a £X loan and you click apply; it'd go through no problem. Same as overdraft.
