Best Avro Tariff available now

We have been with Avro Energy for a few years on fairly competitive12 month fixes and are now on "Simple and Super 12M" 12month fix started on 10/3/21 with no exit fees. In yesterday`s MSE money tips email is - "Cheapest good-service fix: Avro Energy 12mth fix, save £188/yr." Are they referring to the above tariff? If we stick with Avro, how do know when a cheaper 12 month fix becomes available? I find their myriad of similarly sounding names a "pain".

Not only is there the pain of a myriad of similar sounding names but there is the frustration of the fact that a tariff with the same name can cost different amounts in different parts of the country.

From what I can see, following the link above, it means Avro Simple and Saver12M tariff.
Which came out after the tariff you are currently on.

To see what renewal tariff is available to you, click on this link and it should give you your option.

That is true for all suppliers though, wholesale prices vary by region.

Yes, all suppliers and that translates into tariffs for use and standing charges which vary by region.  The consequence is that questions about the best available tariff for any supplier cannot be answered.

When comparing tariffs for a single supplier you will rarely find that the cheapest option for one region is not the cheapest option for all regions.

Thanks for all your insights! My current renewal quote "Simple and Fixed 12M" is more expensive than my present "Simple and Super 12M", so the recent MSE money tips for an Avro 12M Fix is a bit of a "red herring" for me. Is it advisable to check Avro periodically (eg every 4 months) for a cheaper 12M Fix or, save my time and check my options at the end of my present 12M Fix?

Simple and Fixed12M tariff price was increased to new customers today, still loads cheaper than many other suppliers

They must have someone full time making up names and rates for the new tariffs that come out each week.
Maybe that`s why it`s difficult to speak to them. :*

How can they increase a "Fixed" tariff price? Shouldn`t they have to change the "Simple and Fixed 12M" name tag? Perhaps they are running out of names!

New tariff price/cost/charges only applies to those taking it out following the increase
