I always went barefoot, but but since having dog I got out of the habit of wearing shoes as boots give me more traction and apparently I can’t leave the house without her…so socks go on for the boots and then stay on for the day. Dog changed so many elements of my life that I wouldn’t have thought of, like I only seem to wear jeans now (as I’m too lazy to change out of a skirt or frock before going out for a walk).  We don’t do much walking now she’s old, just bumbling around the garden, but I’ve been conditioned now 😬
Do you give in to socks when it’s cold?

Since I got a massive spider trapped between my toes I haven’t gone barefoot. I’ll never forget seeing its legs waving about in my toes 😱 All my floors are vinyl or laminate apart from the stairs/landing so I wear slippers. I’m quite particular about them though, won’t just wear anything. Usually find some glittery/sequin ones, animal print or fake sheepskin.

^^^ THAT is one of my biggest fears. Makes my teeth itch just thinking about it 😬

The worst thing between my toes has been cat sick, I’d much rather that than a big spider…shudder!

That made me laugh…I’m imagining you have toes in all directions and can only balance when socks hold them in place 🤣
I’m very clumsy myself, always misjudging doors and getting hooked on the door handles, etc.

Always late to the party but I loved both Thornbirds & flambards & I think I will give Virgin River a miss! I still need to watch Bridgerton!  I love my slippers in winter & I hate socks! Loving being able to walk about barefooted at the moment xx
