Surveys are better for instant results. Competitions are more like one win per bazillion entries 😬

    Good morning, Thursday already!
nothing much to report today apart from another nsd planned and I went up .4 of a pound despite being positively saintly on the food front 🤬 I’m sure it will drop back off and I know daily weighing has ups and downs, but still 😖
I hope you all have a fabulous day 🌸⭐️

Try not to worry @WinterWarrior - like you say it will fluctuate daily but try going by other parameters such as how you feel, how your clothes fit, have you got more energy etc.....

Tape measure is a better gauge than scales. Joe Wicks calls them the sad step 😆

Good morning and happy Friday ☕️🌸🌺
The scales are indeed the sad step! I haven’t got on them yet. It’s only been 4 days so no noticeable breathing room in my clothes yet and my spare energy is reserved for moaning!
Im calling early for an NSD. I did impulse spend £16.99 yesterday on some slippers for MrWW as he was mentioning how his were wearing out. Personally I can’t wear slippers, they feel like something my nana wore and I won’t be ready for them until I’m at least 85 no matter how sensible they are! If I start being interested in slippers I will probably also be in the market for a polyester quilted housecoat and a nelly rain hood 🤣
Have a great day everyone, I wish you all a lucky day, with not much work and lots of fun things ⭐️

I'm curious what do you wear around the house on your feet? And are your floors carpeted?

I feel you on all of those points 😂
My family went through a stage of buying me slippers each year, I think they imagined that I’d try them and never go back... though I also can’t stand comfy socks etc!

Socks! And yes, mostly carpets with tile in the kitchen and bathroom 😁

Carpets make a huge difference, at my parents carpeted house I am happy in socks, but our house is 50% stone flags and 50% wooden floors with stone stairs (insert eek emoji) so I wear generic crocs, OH wears either generic crocs or ankle boot slippers as he has poor circulation and feels the cold, the teenagers wear generic crocs, slipper socks, ankle boot slippers, bare feet - whatever the weather, more dependant on their mood.

I am 31 and since my early twenties I have been glued to my slippers! I generally buy nice ones from Ug(g) or whatever but I literally live in them. My mum was the same with hers and we got her new every year for Christmas 🎅 I can’t live without them!
