I've had a spendy month too, and snow in late April is frankly ridiculous!  The weather should be ashamed

Happy Thursday everyone. It is not all sweetness and light in the WW household. MrWW went out to play this morning and limped back in within half an hour with a dodgy back. As you already know, I am no nurse and MrWW likes a full on 24 hour nursing staff, a priest and prayers for any kind of boo-boo, so we don’t rub along well at these times 😬 I have fetched and carried snacks and pills, but left him to it while I work….so I will apologise now if you can hear the shouts of pain, agony and outrage from a poor boy, tucked under a blanky with only a million tv channels and a games console for company! I think I may just stay at work for the foreseeable 😅
Anyhow, pay day tomorrow, so that’s something!

You have my sympathies WW, I would make the worlds worst nurse. I'm very much a take some tablets and stop moaning sort of person .

Oh dear you have my total sympathy, I hope Mr WW back improves quickly, we are on week three of OH back troubles and my patience has well and truly gone!! Although true be told not sure I had much in the first place.  1 stone 2lbs down that is amazing just wish I could say I was actually trying!! Have a good day xx

Oh dear......Mr WW sounds like the exact opposite of Mr F. If he is poorly or injured, it's all I can do even to get him to take a couple of paracetamol. I proffer them with a glass of water & he looks at me as though I'm trying to force him to ingest Class A drugs. Same with injuries. He comments that his ankle feels strained & weak.
Me: Do you think one of those tubular elastic bandages might help?
Him: Why would it?

My answer to best friend moaning about his sore back is "Come here and I'll kick your leg to take your mind off it" so I don't think I'd get on too well with Mr WW either. I did however look after the whinger very well when he had covid even though he gave it to me too. I was better about two weeks before he was and he had it first 🙄 The HT treats all painkillers like potential attempts on his life so I have from one extreme to the other 🤣

@CRANKY40 🤣🤣 Your HT would be my dream. I strongly believe there should be some kind of sickness test before marriage, so the men who like being coddled can find a caring lady with infinite patience and the rest of us have a chance to run if we don’t feel strong enough 🤣

Happy Saturday! The sun is shining, but it’s very chilly. I will be food shopping tomorrow when it’s quieter, as MrWW is still making the most of his back, so it will just be me . 

I think I’m going to go for a proper walk while the sun is out, so I can add some more steps. Hopefully dog will forgive me for going without her.
