He won't be so wee for long at that rate!
  • Good morning and happy Tuesday ☕️❄️
The ‘poor wee cat’ was back for a big breakfast this morning and prancing around the utility room like he owns the place. I popped him back outside and he was most displeased. I wonder if he went home last night or if he camped out?
I’m not talking about weight as the scales appear to be broken 🤭 Despite having less calories than I burn every single day my weight has gone back to Fridays level and nutracheck whipped back my 3lb award and gave me the old 2lb award instead…how dare they 😢 This happened before too, I seem to gradually go down, then back up, then down a bit more, then back up….most frustrating, but hopefully the down will go ‘downer’ each time 😕
    Still very snowy here.
I hope you are having a good day ❄️❄️❄️

  • That is part of the problem with weighing every day (I still do it though)  you weight fluctuates normally, and a good wee or poo can affect it !!!
The thing to do is not get disheartened and think its not working.  If you consistently have less calories than you burn you WILL keep on going downwards just not in a straight trajectory
Generally to lose 1 to 2 pounds a week, you need to burn 500 to 1,000 calories more than you consume EACH DAY, through a lower calorie diet and regular physical activity.

You need a calorie deficit of 3500 to lose 1lb - that’s over the course a week. I only weigh myself once a week, same day, same time. If I weighed every day it would do my head in because of the fluctuations.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • I think I’m always lower on a weekend as I weigh when I get up and that’s several hours later than on a week day. I’m aiming for 1200 cals per day, but on a bad day it can be as much as 1350. Still less than I need, so hopefully I’ll slowly go down. I can’t resist a daily weigh 🤣

  • Good afternoon and happy Wednesday ❄️❄️❄️
just work today and not much interesting to report. I’m still not down to Saturdays weight, but it did go down a bit….I haven’t got my 3lb badge back yet though 🙄
I’m enjoying using nutracheck though. It’s such an easy way to monitor the calories.
we are still quite snowy here. It’s getting slushy, but we are also getting snow showers.
I did spend money yesterday, but on Dreamies and markies, as apparently the treat situation was dire and I needed to top them up for my own safety 😁

  • Good morning and happy Thursday. Another day, another exactly the same weigh in, despite keeping the calories to 1200. Hey ho….it’s got to catch up sometime!
the boy cat with the girls name dad came to collect him last night. They had been away and left him with a timer food thing and a cat flap I think. Anyway he’d broken the cat flap and come here. That explains him hanging around for so many days. Cats are sociable animals, he would have been bored on his own. Even the snow was preferable, poor little thing. We absolutely do not want another cat and we’re glad they looked for him, it was getting to the point where we were going to have to contact them if he hadn’t gone home on his own.
The snow is melting, but keeps throwing out flurries of more of it too. It’s freezing and I have a hot water bottle on my knees 😁
I hope you all have a good day ☕️❄️☕️
