WinterWarrior - good luck with your yogurt making, I made another batch using yogurt from the first lot, it's ok but not as thick but it will still get eaten. I do seem to eat a lot of it either in cooking or with fruit.

@nannygladys - if you strain your yoghurt through some cheesecloth/J-cloth it will thicken up nicely.  If you leave it too long though you'll end up with soft cheese!

Good morning and happy Monday ☕️☕️☕️☕️
At least it’s a nice short week with the chocolate egg weekend coming up!
I’m hoping not to spend today…just work, work and more work…hoorah!
I need my savings increase to be substantial this month as next month a large lump will go to MrWW’s birthday, so I’ll probably be treading water in May. I will have a small pay rise kick in, but I don’t know how much it will be after the NI rise the same month. I’m hoping I’ll at least see a tiny improvement! Although it definitely won’t be inflation busting 🙄
I hope you all have a wonderful day filled with all good things ☕️📚🍫🧁

Ooh well done on the payrise. Anything is a bonus in these times.
I have had my Easter bunny a week early. I recommend Sainsbury's Belgium chocolate bunny. £8.00.  they do it in white as well for you heathens

When I want soft cheese I generally buy a cheap greek style Yoghurt and strain it.  I quite like garlic and herb soft cheese so stir  through some grated garlic and some dried mixed herbs, very tasty it is too.  It's good used to stuff a chicken breast and then wrap in bacon to roast!

joedenise - I have to get some milk this week, so whilst I'm out I will call in lids and get a pot from there and have a go, I suppose you can add whatever you want? Or just add it to a small amount and save the rest plain? Does it just keep as long as the yogurt would?

Good morning and happy Tuesday ☕️📚🍫🧁
@moving_forward I do wish we had a sainsbo’s….I’d love a white choc bunny!
What are you all up to today? Just work for me.
I made yoghurt overnight so just popped it in the fridge now. It’s Greek style coconut flavour.
I hope you all have a fabulous day filled with Easter snacks and happiness ☕️🍫🧁📚
