@WinterWarrior and @moving_forward - thanks!  I had a bit of a lie in with my book.  But I have decided to focus this annual leave on decluttering my bedroom - i can hardly see any floor and it's not the haven of tranquility and sweet dreams that i want it to be!  So I've carted a bookcase upstairs to DD2's bedroom and filled it with books (mostly mine), shredded and recycled lots of paper and card; filled a plastic tub with boxes, filled another tub with padded envelopes & bags for packaging, put some furniture on Fb and then rewarded myself for my activity by doing an online exercise class!  Thinking i might allow myself a day off tomorrow .....

@nannygladys has been buying chocolate over on her diary and I was so proud of her! Nanny, we keep saying you need a few treats! 

My plant pots and cute earth discs arrived yesterday. You put the discs in water and it makes earth…it’s like magic 😮 I planted up a few sunflower seeds in one of the pots, to practice, and the cats have been keeping an eye on it…waiting for the tasty sprout 😖
I ordered a few surprises yesterday for MrWW’s birthday and sent money for a huge and shiny toolset for his main present. It was going to come out of next months money, so will reduce any savings this month, but then I’ll have a better time next month. Apparently the tool set was a bargain, but I understand it just as much as he understands my compulsion to buy out the entire hobby place stock 🤣 I think like me with hobby stuff he will look at it, take out the bits, put them back, be happy to have it and then stack it quietly somewhere while he gets around to using it one year 😬
obviously if we had a superkitten like @Sun_Addict we could just get her to do all the hard jobs needing shiny tools 😁

I have just purchased a box set of 3 kindle books from the river place for £0.00, which seems a good bargain and has fairly good reviews. The Northminster Mysteries by Harriet Smart. It will be a long time before I get to them as I have a large to be read pile, but if any of you enjoy historical murder mysteries it might be worth a look 🙃

Our work treats all the staff to hotcross buns so as I volunteered to get them mine just happens to be a triple chocolate one 😁😁
