Good morning and happy Friday 😁📚☕️🍫🧁 …. Oooh flexi Friday. The world is my oyster, as long as it doesn’t include spending 🤣
I had my year end review at work this week and got some nice praise, which is good, but also kind of sad that you can’t pull out a report card and get a treat from your mum and dad….instead you just get even more work (I think it’s a tried and tested method where managers everywhere say ‘ this one’s doing well, let’s see if we can break it 😈’ ). Back in the days of report cards, mine were always the less said the better 🤣 I know my problem now, I just have a really short attention span! 

Anyhow, today I am up and ready to tackle the world….will it be housework…or crafting….or procrastinating 🤔

From experience I’ve found the more you do at work the more work they give you, especially if you do a good job.

Yes, and the less you complain, the more they pile on….but I don’t like to complain 😅

The more I complain the nicer I'm being asked if I can take more, I'm even being told I don't have to 😅
I used to always take on more work and do it well but then I realised others don't and nobody does anything about it. So I started taking my time, adding buffers to my timings and always act busy 😬

I could have wrote this!  7 months of working mine and 1.5 peoples jobs through lockdown with them coming back and bragging about being furloughed and been treated the same made me realise I was being a mug.

All so true! I do wonder how busy some people are, who appear to have less to do and still can’t manage! My one vice is colouring in adult/complicated colouring books while on team meetings. I concentrate better if I’m fiddling 🤣

This is so true! However I have perfected a nice line in 'What an interesting idea (for pointless extra paperwork), I'll look at that!' and then later 'Oh gosh, did I forget?' 🤔

This might only work in schools though where bosses are too busy to check. I always keep a couple of things they are supposed to be doing (but aren't) handy, to pull out, in case of questions😂😂
