    Morning all

    I'm off to the office today :( I'm going in late morning so i can spend a bit of time with DD2 before she goes back to her uni flat  :'(
    We met DD1's dog at the weekend, she is a romanian rescue, very cute but very nervous.  I am quite happy with my 2 cats, they never wake me up in the morning - i think they have given up trying as my door is shut and i never hear them!

    @jokono is it Where The Crawdads Sing? It's great. I've just started re-reading The English Passengers which I read many years ago and loved. Historical fiction, sailors and a trip to Australia.

    just work today 😖. It was snowing thickly last night, but most has gone and it’s raining now. Still freezing though! I want to snuggle under a blanket with books and snacks, but here I am at my desk, full of the joys of spring 😬
