I am all for online delivery but we are trying to cut costs down while cost of living is soaring. Hence all the faffing.
We averaged about £493 a month groceries Jan to Mar and that was with cutting down! Just food toiletries and cleaning stuff. Pets and alcohol are separate. It's a balance between food that can be cooked quickly after a long day and not giving in to takeaway -we may or may not have just had a KFC which is first takeaway since a greggs 6th Mar. Outstanding for us.
When cost of living settles we can revaluate budget.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

@moving_forward it’s really worth a delivery in the cost of your time and research with all that shop hopping. You must be exhausted. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Tuesday (yawn) ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️6am garden walk this morning. The downside of shifts is I can’t pretend to be sleeping when dog is complaining 😬 She wants on the bed (ramp was a washout), she hasn’t got her jump this morning…I know this because outside didn’t cure the moaning and it will be constant now until I get up 🙄 Then she’ll have breakfast and a nice sleep while I work 🙄🙄
Just work and the normal jobs today and hopefully an NSD.I hope you all have a tremendous Tuesday filled with chocolate and happiness 🍫🍫🍫☕️☕️☕️📚📚📚🧁🧁🧁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning! I've been woken up by Boy2 who doesn't like to catch 7am in bed.
Tuesdays is the community larder for me. While I'm in town I'll also go to the library today to collect a book recommended by @Naomim
I recently found out we can recycle bathroom stuff like flossers, toothbrushes /heads, hair styling tubs etc. so I'm going to drop some off as well in the participating B00ts.

Good morning by the way and try the steps with dog they work a treat with M_F dog she would highly recommend them. She used them only last night to sneak up onto the bed then wake me with a lick before trampling all over the bed and eventually settling in between us taking most my cover with her! Who needs sleep eh? 😴😴😴Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

@moving_forward do they do big steps too? In other words for a dog as large and heavy as the average mother in law? The ones I found seemed like they would bow or wobble when a slightly hefty hound steps on them 😖 I’m tempted with SA’s ottoman idea, but not convinced she’d know how to navigate that either…she’s no dog Einstein, but we love her 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

These are the ones we have. Don't say weight rating on there but someone's review says they used for big dog. Rosewood's own website says they ok for big dogs.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓
