Happy Thursday. Our next door but one neighbour has a very grumpy ginger tom. He sits on their wall staring defiantly at our dog when she sits in the window.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Good morning....another house that feeds the neighbours cats here. Their owner sometimes works late so they knock on our patio door if they're hungry and get a chewy stick or a sachet depending on the time of day. Our cat has a chat with them from the inside if the window.

Edited to add that their owner knows they stop here for a snack now and then and is ok with that.
  • @CRANKY40 I have no idea if the owner of our bad cat knows, I think he comes from somewhere across the fields. He has phases where we see him every day and then not for months, which is why I suspect he owns a shift worker. He can eat 3 sachets in one sitting, so he clearly eats well everywhere 😁 mine are just grazers. We have fed strays over the years, 3 we managed to reunite with their owners through cats protection and 2 who ended up as inside boys! We are so close to open countryside I think it seems to be a location where all the lost or dumped cats wash up.

We have a big scary cat that comes up to our french doors and glares at my cats while they hide under the table and hiss.
I have to go into the office today as i have an eve meeting.  Am already looking forward to bedtime zzzzzzzz

  • @Deni_debt-free_dreamer it depends on the strawberry cream. I would eat a QS one, but I wouldn’t fancy a whole tin. I hope your meeting goes quickly.

The cat that used to visit here before I looked after pup has started to come back, he obviously knows that pup has gone, but I'm determined not to feed him this time, mind you he is looking old now, poor thing.

  • But he may be starving @nannygladys

I will feed the visitors but I wont let them in to sleep etc, or do three regular meals like my cat thief neighbours who have had two of my mine that way

He was! He was the real deal ☺️

Cat thief neighbours, that's awful! I will snack a visitor but not regularly, so unfair to their owners
