Mr M_F usually gets a cobb on with going back to work days before the actual event!  This time for some reason he seems ok  :/ makes me worry somethings up  :D

Slippers are a good spend WW. Your be ordering your shawl and fingerless gloves next!

I bought the HT a giant slipper from Home Bargains as one of his Christmas presents. It's to keep under his desk to keep his feet warm as he won't wear slippers either and he's delighted with it 😁

@CRANKY40 I love the thought of those…I always imagine elderly people getting up to answer the door and falling flat on their faces…like a slipper equivalent of tying your shoelaces together 🤣

I'm sure we've had the slipper convo already but I love my slippers! I was brought up wearing them and couldn't be without them.  MrM has only really worn them for the past year or so.

I think so too, but now I’ve caved! 😁

I too have one of those big slippers as I hate wearing the real thing.  They fluff up really nicely after going through the washing machine too.

I only bought slippers as a result of working from home since Covid.  I wouldn't be without them now, they make such a difference to how warm I feel!

I love slippers but as I suffer with plantar fasciitis occasionally I try and steer clear of anything other than decent, high arch support....so I've got a pair of thermal lined boots that I picked up at a car bootsale (still had their tags on) that are my house boots.  I treat them like slippers (they've even gone through the washing machine a few times successfully) and I feel "dressed" when I'm wearing them (which helps me mentally ). I used to slop around in slippers and have very sore feet but these make me happy. It's a real pain when you get to the supermarket and realise you're still wearing them

But can anyone tell you are wearing slippers & if not who cares?  With some of the footwear I've seen people wearing you'll be fine.  Mind you where I used to work I used to see people going to the local shop in their pyjamas & dressing gowns & slippers.

I’ve always worn slippers since being very young. I try to get nice fancy ones though, animal print or sparkly.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
