Who would steal an advent calendar.  It would be like stealing from your children!!  A lot of guilt in that office one way or another I would say.  All scared they would be accused.  What a win!

@nannygladys I have artificial grass and decking in the back garden and pots of plants 🤣  the front is real but mainly weeds. My 80 year old next door neighbour with her manicured lawn hates it!  She actually asked me to get mine cut a week or so back. I'm just too lazy.

I'm shocked someone would eat your advent chocs but a good result in the end!

  • @nannygladys What a result getting the extra advents, it’s a good job you kicked up a fuss!
@Naomim I wouldn’t cut it until next spring now, I hate being told what to do 🤣

Good morning and happy Friday…we made it! ☕️📚🍫🧁
yesterday I bought a nail file and a bag..random I know, totally unnecessary and blew the budget! The NSD’s are rather elusive, I must try and nab one today 😖 I really need to get a grip, there are still 2 weeks to go and my savings plan is in tatters! If I am very good for the rest of the month I will have saved £180 this month which is abysmal when you think that the loans I was paying were three times that. I did pay £220 for an insurance in one go from this wage, but even so, it’s not great. Next month I’ve no big outgoings, but I do need to get some heating oil at some point, ready for when the radiators will need to start coming on.
I’ve no spending planned for this weekend anyway 😬
I hope you all have fabulous Fridays filled with sunshine, chocolates and happy thoughts ☀️🍫☕️🍰🧁

Morning, last work day this week for you!

I've been making some candles for birthday and Christmas presents, house smells lovely.

off out tonight to see a sea shanty group, not at all our sort of music usually, but going with a lovely set of friends so will be fun.

love the wildlife tails ( did you see what I did there)?

keep chasing those NSDs, don’t let them get away from you

enjoy choc, coffee books and anything else you love 😀

Bluebell, frankincense and myrrh, to go with my gold home made coasters, and “under the mistletoe”.  made the coasters  by gluing some sample gold wallpaper onto a piece of cork and covering with PVA glue.

thought it would make a change from taking flowers, plant etc along as a gift when we go out for dinner to friends etc

all very OS as been given jars etc 😉
