Happy Sunday @WinterWarrior
I've got about £15 left until my next spends kick in on Wednesday. When does your week start over? It's getting duller and duller here but no rain yet. I think it's on its way though. I desperately need a pair of jeans but have got used to elastic/drawstring waistbands and really don't think I can bear squashing myself into something that needs zipping up and buttoning
Wishing I'd kept my maternity jeans because that's exactly the sort of comfort I'm looking for these days

Jeggings all the way for me! Although as I've just lost loads of weight I have picked up some jeans that don't feel quite as though I'm being disembowelled every time I move...I do prefer a stretchy waist though.
I don't own any make up, well that's a lie, I do but I moved 2 years ago and it hasn't been used since I've been here and probably wasn't for around 2 years previous at the last funeral I went to where the mascara irritated my eyes and I looked like a panda before I'd even shed a tear. Think it's about time I threw it away.
Today I wore jeggings and a nice top to go to a boot sale, came home and changed into gardening jeggings and a t-shirt and then after a shower I put around the house jeggings and a clean t-shirt on....variations on a theme but if it's comfy it works for me.4 -
@teafor2 mine starts again on Saturday…it’s a long way to go.
I do the squishing into jeans….all the same size, but some feel like @Jellytotts disembowelling and a precious few I can breathe in.
well done on the weight loss jelly. I don’t often change for different activities, once I’m dressed I’m dressed 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Weight loss wasn't planned, rather forced upon me thanks to the dodgy gallbladder (which has now exited the body). Multiple changes are in an attempt to keep nice clothes nice as I'm a very messy gardener (big garden and allotment). I'm often partial to declaring a Pj day if it's raining and no one is due to visit (I loved lockdown for that).Why are pj's not suitable normal daily activities, warm and comfy, very practical....2

I'm a bit obsessed with Joe browns combination leggings and skirt. Super comfortable but the skirt bit makes me feel like ive got a bit more modesty than just leggings. I got a pair for my birthday last year and sadly they've got a few small holes in now- literally my favourite item of clothingBottom line;

@kakiste, they are a bit like when I was at school and we’d have a gym skirt over shorts…you still had your legs out, but it felt so much better. It sounds like you need more pairs. It’s still MSE if you get your wear out of them!@Jellytotts day pj’s should be a thing!Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Good morning and happy Monday. ☕️☕️☕️☕️ Where did that weekend go? It was so fast ☹️I really want some time off, but nothing is booked until mid October. I may have to book an odd day to get me through.I was missing my dad a lot yesterday, I’m not sure why some days are like that. I tend to get stuck in a loop of what I did wrong and had a good cry in private in the car (dog doesn’t mind). I know I have form for this, dragging things up and regretting them, just life mistakes everyone makes and just moves on from. I’d love a do over, but I’d probably still not make the right choices. Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t it. I’m a great one for ignoring advice, going my own way, then realising I should have taken the advice 🙄 I think really I need sledgehammer advice, a gentle suggestion was never enough, but then I’d rebel against being told what to do…sigh.Anyway, work today. No real excitement planned. I finished series 4 of Good Girls yesterday. I’m glad they’ve left it ready for another one.
I hope you all have marvellous Monday’s filled with all good things 🌺🍫☕️Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Labradors are the best when you’re sad, mine had to put up with all sorts when my parents died.
hope she enjoyed her drive out yesterday
off for a walk to the woods today, where we scattered my parents ashes, no anniversary or special reason, the people were going with had never been there. Need to make the most of the weather now.
have a good day and book those days off !Carolbee3 -

We all feel like you did yesterday from time to time, regret things we’ve done, think too much. It’s totally normal. You can’t change the past unfortunately but have to learn from mistakes and move on.Hope you feel a bit more positive today 🙂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
