Where's a Good Online place for Brown Tape

I've tried online tape in the past and have been quite disappointed with the quality of the tape

The 'Poundshop' tapes aren't too good as well

Wilko (Wilkinson) has been a good supply, not only were their tapes longer than many (60m) but they were quite sticky too. At 59p a roll, they were a bargain.

The price went up and up and is now £1 a roll. A few months back (I think) it was 3 for 2, so that was 66p each, I stocked up, but I am now running short.

Maybe it's time to try online again .. but where ?

I find brown tape getting less and less sticky these days.

I have swapped to 'sellotape' of the same width it seems to be much stickier.

Sounds Wholesale. Either their website of eBay shop. Good prices and decent tape.
  • Try this ebay item number 123628913805  That gives you six 3M brown tapes for £7.30 delivered. Great price and as long as they are genuine 3M the quality is always decent.

Keep us posted as to which one you get and how it is.  I am on my last roll and on the lookout.  Like you, tried pound shop one which was useless.  Have tried wilko as well and is OK.

I buy 3M tape from ebay, but I've also tried brown tape from The Works, 2 rolls for £1 & quite happy with it & it's worked well sealing up quite heavy parcels, so will use than once my 3M stash has gone.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Each roll just 28 metres in length,. so the 60m tape at Wilko is better value ... assuming you have a Wilko nearby

3M must be one of the world's most counterfeited brands.

I've lost count of the amount of Chinese tat that I've bought which was advertised as having 3M tape on it (e.g. strings of LEDs) and it has certainly not been genuine 3M.
