Rough cost of gas connection into home

The gas main pipe is approximately 161 metres away from the house. I believe the first 30 metres is paid for by the gas company but does anybody know the rough cost of the additional 131 metres. Really don't want to run an all electric house and oil/LPG are logistically out of the question.   TIA

This might provide some further information:https://cadentgas.com/services/household-customer/new-connections.
If you click apply then you can put in your postcode, might not cover your area, but should give a guideline figure.
It's definitely not going to be cheap though given the length of piping required, probably still worthwhile unless you wish to condemn yourself to remaining electric, which you don't.

There have been many posts over the years on  connecting gas and it seems like a lottery with costs ranging from a few hundred pounds to a few thousand pounds - with the distance to the gas main NOT the main criteria.

Just to give you an update have spoken with the gas board of the area. The house is  approximately 123mtrs form the mains. You have to have a site survey by an independent company which costs about £428.40. Unfortunately they had no idea how much the pipe work/digging up would cost. The good news is it takes about 6-8 weeks from start to finish.    Now looking at LPG

What's made LPG now logistically possible then?,as opposed to out of the question 24 hours ago.
So unless I've picked it up wrong, you need to spend £430 for a survey which would then give you a quote?.

I had it done last summer. But it was only from the pavement at the end of the drive. So probably about 20 metres. It cost £950. That doesn't include a meter, but they did put up a meter cupboard.

I live in a very narrow road and only cars can come up/down hence the logistics 24 hours ago. Yes I spend £430 ish then they give me a quote

If you have room for an LPG tank, why not consider heating oil? Based on current pricing oil will be cheaper to run and if I understand it correctly, with LPG won't you will be locked into one fuel supplier as part of the tank installation agreement?

Not that I know that much about it,if that's the only access there is then quite possibly heating oil or LPG suppliers wont have the access thats needed to supply you.
As mentioned earlier there's better information on both in their own thread.
