Although looking at my assessment portal, the date still showing 5/4 so that could still be a next week call

I wasn’t able to get any dates at all given through the web chat. I was literally told that they couldn’t tell me if it had gone for initial security checks or not as it doesn’t show up on the system unless they need to do further checks

I called and actually spoke to someone today, 25mins on hold mind. My return is 100% going through checks, and it can take up to 6 weeks, I asked if it would be released before then and was told that it’s always possible, if nothing heard after the 6 week date (2weeks time) then to call and they can refer to “specialist team” I’m not confident on early release to be fair. I’m sure they know more than they letting on.

call centre staff know no more than is shown on the computer record. they do not know why it is being checked or what enquiries are being done. these are done by a separate department.
They tell you what    their instructions have told them to say.

Just called them.. they have said 14th June all should be dealt with regarding security checks.

Filed mine on the 6th been pending ever since called them last week was told it looked like it was pulled for security checks it has changed this morning to issued
