Thanks, all - just hoping that they manage to survive the current situation. I did see an article recently where they said that they were concerned for the industry as a whole but not about themselves.
I would suggest that the main concern a company like Zog might have (assuming they've done a good job in hedging to cover existing commitments) would be an extended period where their fixed deals reach their natural end and customers opt to go on the standard variable tariff which they then have to provide at a loss. The bigger suppliers - much as they might protest - would be able to withstand quite a long period of having to do this but I'm not so sure about small companies like Zog.

    The cheapest they are offering me is Mercury 24 v40 at 6.921p / 26.25p / £1341.65, the cap is around 3.82p / 24.88p / £817.27 - £524 difference

Zog Juniper is showing as a current tariff. That’s their variable tariff and is under the cap.

Being offered - along with most other suppliers they are not offering that when getting a quote, it is only available to default to.
edit .  seems to be offered when getting a quote on the old site but not on the beta and is at a (considerably) lower rate to that shown on the CA comparison, likely still at pre Oct cap rates.
