Zog Billing
I submitted my first meter reading to Zog Energy on 26 March - exactly one month after my switch to them completed. I wasn't asked for a reading, I just submitted it. It is now 5 April. I am wondering when I might expect a bill to be produced. I have emailed CS but have had no response. When I was with Yorkshire energy I received a bill within half an hour of submitting my reading. I don't have a problem if Zog take longer, as long as I know what to expect. Any Zog customers out there who can comment?

Your bill has already been generated, it was generated on the 31st of March. If you submit a reading on anything other than the last day of the month you'll see an estimated reading for the last day of the month on your bill. This is normal as Zog's billing system runs on a calendar month basis, so remember to give them a new reading on April 30th.1

They bill, and you should submit readings, on the last day of the month. Bill normally arrives around 8th working day of month so could be a bit later than 10th - 12th this month. Your bill will be from start of contract to 31 March with an estimated read for that date.

Thank you very much! Does Zog have this information anywhere? I had a look at their website before I posted here but couldn't find anything about when to submit a reading.

Regular meter readings are good for you and for us, they help us to make your statements as accurate as possible. At Zog Energy we send monthly statements. For best results we recommend you send us a meter reading for the last day of each month.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill2 -
I've been with Zog for about 6 months and have got into the swing of their system. I do wonder why they don't send read reminders, it's not like it is going to cost them a significant amount.

Probably because they don't have a "My Account" section/system which would generate those emails. Very much no frills, Zog. Anyway with bills generated monthly anybody who's paying attention will soon work out how to prevent estimate readings at the end of the month.

And weirdly, considering there has just been a BH, the bill arrived last night, earliest for a long time !molerat said:They bill, and you should submit readings, on the last day of the month. Yes, I was surprised to get my bill yesterday, too.Mind you, I would assume the process is pretty much automatic, unless an anomaly requiring human intervention is flagged, for people who put in regular readings.0

I've just had my second bill since switching to them. I contacted them after a similar situation on the first bill, but into the swing of it now. All suppliers do it a bit different, it's just a cse of adjusting to your current supplier's method
