Ringtone Question
Hi guys
I have a redmi 9 mobile phone and i am trying to put ringtones on it, i already have the tones but was wondering if there is a easier way of putting them on.
When i try and put a tone on the phone it bring all the music and the tones up together so you are scrolling forever trying to find the tone you want.
Is there a folder where you can put the ringtones in and only them will come up? or am i stuck with the way i am doing it.
Its really a pain to do any and any help would be much appreciated.

If the list is in alphabetical order, start your ring tone filename with the letter A. Should be near the top then

What do you mean, "bigger to smaller"? what does that even mean? Do you mean the size of the ringtone file?

Thats what it says if you want to change it goes by file size thats why it says bigger to smaller and smaller to bigger there is not much of alphabetical order apart from the word TYPE that gives a bit of order but there is no A-Z it is strange.

The file manager is where you put the tones into the contacts....It just says audio and all the music and ringtones come up together you can't just go to the file manager and install tones from there....It is a strange way of doing it.

It does seem rather odd, I would have expected it to behave like this:

where you can browse for folders once you get into File Manager, but I get no such option. Perhaps they messed up that feature with MIUI 12?Stompa0
