Perhaps your workplace should consider using a service such as GoCardless to collect direct debit payments:
We won't take DDs at my workplace as the hurdles you have to jump (the £1million turnover requirement is a big enough obstacle for many) and indeminities the banks require to become an originator are much too onerous for a small company to get involved it.

It depends, I used to work for a company whose name and full address was on all cheques they issued. I have never seen the address on personal cheques though.neilmcl said:
They didn't but quite often when you sent a cheque in the post you were required to put your name and address on the back.moneysavinghero said:
Don't recall cheques ever having account holders address on them.mksysb said:
Unlikely. In the old days we used to send cheques that had all that information on.NewUser99 said:Hello, wasn't sure where to post this so thought i would try here.
It has come to my attention that someone has my full name, address, bank account no and sort code. Can they do anything dodgy with this info?I don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!0
