On the claim form it says... "The driver agreed to pay within 28 days but did not".
I'm not 100% whether it was over the phone, or I wrote a letter to appeal saying that I was not the driver and it was my partner driving the car, does this matter at all, can I still do the appeal? I have no idea what I said/done as it was 5 years ago.
Its crazy how they can leave it 5 years without any reminders and then take it to court after letting the interest per annum rack up, that's unfair surely! @KeithP0 -

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So just to confirm something like this it should look like, obviously the red bits are PCN at top and registered owner near bottom?
PS I would edit it before sending it off so it looks different but just wondering if I got it right as I didn't understand it fully?0 -
That is or was your appeal many years ago , their assertions about the driver are base on typical unsigned contracts by the driver on the day of parking , usually on the signs , if the parking rules were breached , Umkomaas provided the correct reply to you
Concentrate on your Defence , not putting the world to rights , the 6 year rule came in during 1973 for civil claims , nothing to do with parking
There is no such thing as a registered owner , no database exists !!1 -

TEMPLATE DEFENCE - NEW FROM OCTOBER 2020
- NOT FOR PARKINGEYE CASES BECAUSE THEY DON'T ADD COSTS (see NEWBIES thread instead).
- NOT FOR DEFENDANTS WHO ARE COMPANIES UNLESS THE DRIVER WAS USING THE CAR IN A WAY THAT WAS UNCONNECTED TO THEIR WORK DUTIES.
THIS IS FOR YOU TO ADD YOUR OWN FACTS TO, AND THE DATA IN THE HEADINGS,
THEN SAVE IT AS A PDF, SIGN AND DATE A PRINTED COPY AND SCAN IT SO THAT YOU CAN ATTACH IT TO AN EMAIL TO THE CCBC AS EXPLAINED IN THE FIRST POST ABOVE:
CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk

Why do you need to double check the only template defence at the top of the forum on its own sticky ANNOUNCEMENT thread?
Please don't double check sticky threads, we have no time. That's why they are there.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD1 -
