No, it's normal, you write what you do know about the event, the car park, that you were not driving but maybe you are familiar with the place, etc.  Base it around the style of the example posted several times recently by @jrhys
Thank you, I will check that out!
  • Right, moment of truth!
I had to previously get my defence and WS out quite quickly as things have been (and continue to be) rather mental with work.

Now I've just received my Notice of Allocation to Small Claims Track, which will be online, set for the 15th of Sept, by 'Cloud Video Platform' :)
However, if CEL don't pay the court trail fee of £25 by the 8th of Sept, the claim will be struck out.
How likely is CEL to do that?

@Coupon-mad - wondering if you are able to help, and the best way to tackle this - shall I post my defence an WS here with personal data omitted?

    Thanks!

You say you have just received a Notice of Allocation and that that Notice tells you the hearing is on 15th September.

    Have I got that right?

You need to object strongly to them only giving you nine days notice of a hearing.

What does that Notice have to say about the deadline for filing your Witness Statement and evidence?

Or have you already filed your Witness Statement and evidence?

As above. What is the issue date on the NoA? Has it been delayed in the post?

  • Thank you everyone - thankfully we don't have to go through the rigmarole of going to court, as CEL again folded before the case was heard. YAY!!!!

    Nicely done again!

ANOTHER CEL ONE BITES THE DUST!

Keep all paperwork for a month or two though, just in case CEL object to that a order and show they did pay and the court missed it (happens).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
