**dprice8893** I hope that this 'I'm just in the process of changing from TT to Shell Energy' is an April first Joke.I moved to Shell from Sky. Shell halved my download speeds, even after a claimed proper investigation could offer no explanation for speeds halveing. The matter is in the hands of the Ombudsmananniecave said:Best deals are certainly to be had by rotating providers every year or 18 months.
I've had 5 providers since moving into my current property less than 5 years ago. Two of these have been the same provider - Plusnet - they have been the best of the providers I've used.
Talktalk I tried to join but they messed me around for so long that I gave up so they don't count.
Ironically enough it was BT who left me completely without service (landline or broadband) for a two week period 4 years ago.0 -
there is no best provider, what might be best for someone else may not be best for you, just do a line check on the provider you wish to move to , to get an idea of what speed you will get, and go from there, just because someone gets for example 72mb does not mean you will get the same, theres a range of factors which generates what you get and the main one is how far you are from the exchange, close you are the higher it will be and vice versa0
