EE or O2 that I know of but I'll ask around.flashg67 said:
Do you know anyone on Vodafone or Lebara that you can try their sim in your phone?Norman_Castle said:I'm also thinking of moving to Lebaras £3.99 deal but I'm unsure if my phone is unlocked. On their site it looks like they take the first payment then send a sim, is that how it works? What happens if the phone is locked so I cannot use what I've paid for?

I think there are websites where you can check if your phone is unlocked using your phones IMEI number.Norman_Castle said:

Any main network sim other than your current one (or one your MVNO piggybacks on) will check if the phone is unlocked.
What network are you on?
Most providers will unlock for free (or sometimes a fee) if you ask e.g. Three https://www.three.co.uk/Support/Device_Unlock

I think you can get a sim to check the unlocked and maybe network viability.
Looking at the web site you can order the sim without a plan and add it later.
https://mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/free-sim-direct
will need to order a second one as new customer to get the deals as they don't have the option to add to existing
(depends how much they check for new customer if you got a trial sim first if that would work )
there are quite a few options with Lebara on deals that don't come up on the site by default.
https://mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/search/?text=exclusive
(some no longer work and not all have the 50% 4m promo)
there are refer options double data and £10 reward
https://mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/how-to-refer-and-earn
not looked into that further for combine with the exclusive offer
