Snakes_Belly said:No details on the activities of the debt collection agents yet. It will be interesting to see if they will have to be regulated. I do hope so.
It will also be interesting to see the point at which the speculative invoice actually becomes a debt.
but if the figures are much lower will it be worth the parkings Cos paying , or rather using debt collectors
the days of the hidden "enforcement costs" although shown as illigal at bevis but lauded by the ATAs will be a thing of the past , I feer (laughingly) the demise of many so called parking cos whos inital aim was not to offer parking "assistance" , but to hide behind a anpr camera and just dish out tickets , and can only hope that the use of ANPR cameras are banned , also self ticketing and the fact that "wardens " should be in clearly identifyable and livered vehicles and wearing full uniform . (vans should have bulls eyes painting on sides and wardon should have a cow bell round his neck )4 -

Unless the govt redefines the EA to require their use on private land, which would be a loss in many ways, the name is bound to b3e an issueA few years ago I occasionally drove mostly elderly people to the shops - helping neighbours and friends etc.It was no hassle for me to add a passenger from time to time as i would have been visiting the shops anyway .some of these people have varying degrees of mobility, and not all of them had/have a blue badge as it was seen as either a hassle, or they believed they didn't need one as they would only really need it on their "bad days " plus some are fiercely independent and a BB would be a sign of defeat. All in all it was a bit of an eye opener to see how much they needed to use the spaces, blue badge or no blue badge.Either which way i somehow managed to avoid a Parking charge notice, and i i did receive one then the supermarket would be on the receiving end of a severe complaint
From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"4 -

Still waiting to see what happens to the clingons. Debt collection must surely be regulated.

There is a plus side to that ....... it means that the legal clingons cannot use the feeble excuse that the code of practice allows them to add £60 etc. ... we shall see.
The CCJ problem must be addressed. I do not expect Boris to follow the lies of Mrs May
And now .. £5k fines if people go abroad with no valid reason, that will please your little coffee drinking mate SRS ??1 -

Cannot wait for the day that the BPA actually becomes pointless.
Why government still feels fit to involve the IPC is beyond belief, how many times must they be told that the IPC/IAS is just one gigantic scam ..... Could this be another Jenrick game ... "cash for contracts" ??1 -
