Reverting Back to Sky+ HD from Q - Sky refused.....

I also was offered a free "Upgrade" to Sky Q and I'm regretting taking it.
So many little things I keep noticing that I have to change the way I use it. Also not a fan of the new remote, but the old remote was something you get so used to after many years of use.
But I am just planning to adjust, begrudgingly.0 -
Same here about Sky Q, loving it but at the same time hating if you follow. Been with VM for 20 years and moved to Sky in February. VM seemed clunky compared to the Sky interface but after a few weeks it has it's problems but I think it's the user, me! I'm still learning, one frustration, how do you know what's up and coming that you've set to record? It used to be under the headings "my planned recording" in VM or am I being dumb? Other niggles I'm sure I will get round.🤔0

Future scheduled recordings can be seen under the recordings menu....labelled as scheduled. Or did you mean something else?0

We certainly don't regret switching from HD+ to Q. Mind you, this was pre covid, and so the installer was able to spend quite some time with us, showing us how to operate it properly.
Then came covid.... When next door had Q fitted the engineer set up the dish, then just fed the cable through the letter box and legged it.
Mr S had to talk Mr next door through the processes over the phone.0 -
They will be looking to switch off the old platform, so they can up-sell you via the new platform. You cancellation rights will be to terminate the new subscription unless they've explicitly promised otherwise.0

Doubtful "switching off" anything, they already support at least three platforms as it is - the old SD boxes, Sky+HD and Sky Q. If anything's going to be turned off it'll be the legacy SD boxes first I would have thought, there is still a very large Sky+HD user base.
