As said above, it does work but not where you've suddenly decided to live.
You made the decision to move, not Three and they don't guarantee a service everywhere.
People are not being unhelpful, they are just telling you like it is. It does however show the folly of taking out a long therm contract and then deciding to move without considering all the implications.
Perhaps you can see if another network give a better service or you may need to get a phone that supports wifi calling if yours doesn't. However if you go down that route make sure you can definitely use it with Three as they usually just support phones that they've actually supplied or sold and has their software in it.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -

I bought my unlocked Samsung Galaxy s10 from Giffgaff (who use O2) but Wi-Fi calling on Three works without any problems. In fact when I inserted the Three SIM into my phone Wi-Fi calling was automatically set up and I didn't have to do anything at all. The first I knew about it was when I saw a different icon across the top of the screen.
The reception using WiFi calling is excellent and is well worth making use of the facility.
Just check the list of supported phones from the link in my earlier post.

Can confirm that phones that are not on the phone co's websites can work fine for WiFi calling. My Moto G 5G Plus is OK on both Three (PAYG) and Vodafone (contract) despite appearing on neither operators' list,0

I think this is mostly so they could get rid of those hoprrible aternatives. The personal 3G hotspot. I used one of those on vodaphone for a number of years (sure signal box), but now with wifi calling there is no need (wifi calling included texts should you need to be contacted by those odd people not on signal/whatsapp, though just remember picture messsages still cost though the roof on any network so get them to install one of said apps (there are more), should they want that).0

Look here - Three only support a few phones and my wife's Moto g9 play isn't one of them. Whats really irritating is that up to around a year or so ago Three offered an app based wifi calling option (Three in touch) which they decided to abandon when true wifi calling became available. It worked fine on my old Moto e4 and I could use it almost anywhere there was a wifi signal.

I can also confirm that my Pixel 3a, which I bought directly from Google, works fine with Three's wifi-calling. This has been the case for over a year.0

My phone isn't listed (Xiaomin Redmi Note 9) and it works fine. With wifi calling activated on the handset, when you're connected to a wifi network, put the phone into aeroplane mode and then switch wifi (on handset) back on. Wait for a few seconds, if the phone is going to work on wifi you'll see a new icon once it connects.Good luck!
