i wonder if the branch have local records eg something like a computerised day book showing everything that happens each day?
i would guess the financial loss you have suffered is based on the rate difference backdated to your application date - may be worth a second complaint on this to get compensation.0 -

Well at last my transfer from Charter bank has arrived at Nationwide, no £50 bonus showing in my Instant Access account yet though.
Today I received a letter from NW regarding my ISA declaration which details I am applying for a cash ISA for the tax year 6th April to 5th April 2022.
As this is an old ISA transferred in from about 2014 is the tax year correct?
When I looked at the transfer in form I completed I didn’t fill in the tax years from and to as wasn’t sure if it applied.
Is it normal to declare this years tax for a transfer in and will I still have this years allowance unused?
Has anyone else who has transferred in had a declaration letter with this tax year shown?
Hopefully someone on here will have better knowledge than me of ISA procedures.

unless i am misunderstanding, nw seem to have lost the application forms and thus won't open the isa and backdate anythingMDMD said:
