My £20 a month sky sports deal has expired and they’ve offered me £17.99 for six months (cancel anytime). Decent deal that I think

I've been on various deals for a few years now for Sports - never paying more than £20 per month……but when I cancelled the latest one, hoping for a good new deal, all I got offered was £26 per month
I'm going to sign up with a new account on a different email and use a voucher code I bought from ebay (for £5) to get a £20 per month offer for 6 months - as a "new user" I can also take advantage of the 1 month free trial for Ultra boost

£17.99 is the best I have been offered as well

I have just been offered Now Entertainment at a very good price for a minimum commitment of twelve months. But is it worth it? Are there enough programs of interest? A look at the items they suggest doesn't provide much that interests me, but I may just have been unlucky. And HBO Max is due to be included from the end of the month.
Obviously no-one else can say what things I would like, but I would still welcome others' experience.

Same. Think i'll go for it personally. I've watched quite a bit on Entertainment in the past. Sopranos and The Wire just for starters. Loads of others too like like Tin Star, True Detective, Chernobyl, Save Me are all decent imo. I think it's far better than the Cinema package and has far more choice but that's us. It's a pity they tie you in for a year now but at £2.99 a month i think i'll cope. I see a free month of BOOST sitting in my account too so i'll add that on for the first month and then cancel. If they make a silly offer on cancellation i'll consider it just to avoid bloody adverts!!

HBO Max - worth it just to get The Pitt for the first time (legally) in the UK.
Not worth it, NOW charging extra to stream in HD (the broadcast standard pretty much worldwide) and LOTS extra for UHD.

They're all doing it now! Pay or get pestered by adverts. From memory, i have paid for Boost in the past but i think it was offered at something like £1 for 3/6 months when i wnet to cancel. Also, that was coupled with a decent reduction on the standard price of Entertainment. Similar to this offer actually.

Just had same offer, £2.99 for 12 months with free Boost for first month
Like you, undecided due to programme choices, and the constant, non avoidable, Trailers for other programmes
I may just cough up at £2.99 to see if the HBO offering adds much to it

Remember it's a 12 month min term these days so it's circa £36 for the year minimum.

I've gone for it. Also added boost for a free month then went to cancel it and got offered that for 6 months at £2 but that's after first free so good up until October. If we're not using it much we can cancel the boost at anytime.
