BT TV are offering NOW TV for only £6 a month, locked in for 24 months, with Netflix thrown in.                          "There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

Because I wouldn't pay as much as a £5 a month for either service (£2 to £4 for both with a deal on boost maybe) I hadn't looked any closer at the deal - as the cheap ad supported service from Netflix is due in about a week perhaps their hope is tie some customers in to put them off trying it at launch, I have never used it but a £4.99 will probably give it a go.johnbhoy70 said:As above posts got the 3 months for £15 for both Ent and Cinema. £5 per month is what i finished on when i cancelled Ent a couple of months ago but does anyone agree they've been quite cute here and taken away some flexibility. The way i read it is , they take £15 and if you cancelled for example during the first month you would still have to wait till end of month 3 till it stopped and they'd keep your £15??
This is quite different from £5 a month for 3 months when you could cancel at any time and it would end in that month and your payments would stop. One of main attractions for me was the flexibility of just dipping in and out on a monthly basis should you wish.

Yeah agreed! I must admit when I started with NOW and Netflix all these years ago I was pleasantly surprised about the flexibllity if I'm honest. Good point about more weekly episodes now which I hadn't thought of. I suppose the only way to avoid that is wait till there's a few shows completed that you want to watch and then take a 3 month dip in. I just wish they'd give me an offer on boost for a few months. I would probably accept the £5 Ent for 3 months thenFarway said:johnbhoy70 said:As above posts got the 3 months for £15 for both Ent and Cinema. £5 per month is what i finished on when i cancelled Ent a couple of months ago but does anyone agree they've been quite cute here and taken away some flexibility. I have just gone to cancel Sky Cinema and was offered (and accepted) 6 months at £3.99 per month0

Ok. Just off livechat there. Sigh!! They used to be half decent with regards to knowledge of their products and sometimes with offers too. Anyway after wasting time with one agent i took up the £15 for 3 months of Entertainment with a second one.
So that's me committed till the end of January but the only reason i took it was he informed me that there was free trial of Boost for the first month. Apparently this applies to the similar offer for Cinema too. I asked the guy if this was still the case if i had tried Boost in the past and he said it did. I then told him i was in checkout to accept the Entertainment offer but could see no sign of the free month of Boost. He then sent me a link which showed the checkout page with my Entertainment offer and the Boost free month.
So worst case scenario is i've Entertainment for 3 months and the first month is multi device and advert free. I'll obviously go to cancel Boost after the first month and see if i get anything offered and take it from there.0 -
As regards the BT offer. I had to renew contract last week (I have BB, Landline, Mobile and TV with them. As the part of the TV price, I previously had the Entertainment Package at £5.70 a month but they changed this to the same Entertainment Package with free NOW and Netflix thrown in for £6 a month.0

Hi there. Yeah i've got similar with BT. I pay £17.12 for 'TV and Entertainment' but it shows that £17.12 of that is for BT Sport.Be_Happy said:As regards the BT offer. My deal with BT is up end of next month and inquired about the £6 deal for NOW and Netlfix. They offered this free for 6 months and then £6 for remaining 18 months. I also inquired about adding more screens and they told me it was £4 for more screens and HD for Netflix and £5 for NOW. So all in it would be £15 for Multiscreen Netflix and NOW in HD. I didn't take it up as i was just putting the feelers out.

There's a Cinema offer in my account at the moment for £2.99 per month for 2 months. Offer ends on 1/12. Might go for it after i check with other half. Would get you to mid/late January for £6 give or take.2

I'm seeing two offers at the moment - 50% off Sports, and 70% off Cinema, both for 2 months.
In addition, I'm already on two offers (£3pm for Boost, and £2.99pm for Entertainment).0
