  • Has anybody had any luck using CD Keys who appear to offer discounted passes for NOW tv.
Whenever I look, they always seem to be out of stock.
Was a while ago but my one purchase of a code from CD Keys didn't work but was resolved by NOW helpdesk (not CD Keys) after providing proof of purchase, Id etc.Took hours and was a bunch of hassle to save a few quid on watching telly for a week.

Yeah i've had that too and was similarly sorted out pronto by NOW TV cs. I've used a couple of CD Keys in the past and also a company called Gamivo too. I was a bit wary at first but they were all eventually applied even if i did need NOW to do it for me. That's going back over  2 years now and i think since around first lockdown they've never had stock i've seen. If i did find any the most i personally would buy would be a 1 or 2 month pass. I wouldn't risk any more than that.

Can i ask the people above who are getting the £1 Entertainment offer if they cancelled and actually followed through with it and also how long they've been with NOW?? My £5 is due to end next week and they offered another 6 months at same but i declined. £1 is a cracking offer for the Entertainment side

I cancelled Boost (£2) (my offer was ending) a couple of weeks ago and that will finish tomorrow - they didn't make any reduced price offer - I have movies and entertainment on offer (£3.99) with a few months to go but as just the number of trailers is absurd without any ads I have ditched both of them as well (no better offers were made but without Boost I wouldn't have kept them anyway)

That’s a shame I got offered boost for another 3 months at £2 when I cancelled at the weekend

Their loss, I would have kept the other 2 services till the offers ended if they had offered a reduced price for Boost - there are no ads or trailers on the services I still use.
  • Up to now I've only used NOW to buy 1 day passes for sport.
I was tempted to buy an entertainment pass, mainly to watch the spin-off series from Game of Thrones, House of the Dragon.
However, it's in weekly instalments, so wouldn't be able to binge watch it. I'll wait for the Blu-Ray to be released.
What annoys me about NOW is the extra boost amount you have to pay for HD.
Compare this to Amazon Prime Video where I'm paying £5.99 a month for movies/tv series, etc, irrespective of whether they're broadcast in SD, HD, or UHD.

Went fishing today but no luck!! Entertainment stopped a couple of days ago and when i went to cancel Boost too last week i got offered 3 months at £2 too. My Boost and Ent is out of sync on dates so i paid £5 for Boost on 19th August to take me to 18th September but obviously i've not got a service anymore. That's why i went on today with it being the end of the month blah blah and trying to wing a deal.

Just wondering if i need to cancel the Boost now to try and start generating any email offers as  Boost is still on there and i'm probably technically still showing as active??

I've been with them for 7/8 years and don't ever remember offers to come back that i recall during periods of not having it??

I cancelled cinema (ending 7th) and ent (ending 14th) when they didn't offer a deal on boost - when they did I took up the offer (26th) but left the others cancelled, the receipt states " NOW Boost will only roll on from month to month if you also have an active monthly membership" so I presume that will end without needing to cancel

    Sound similar/ish to me

Just off to them again and cancelled Boost relunctantly as it was a decent offer. Was handy as my dad used my details.

You know what's going to happen now of course. I'll probably get a decent offer in the near future for Entertainment but they'll not be able to offer any on Boost. I'd put money on it.

ps- for your info they just refunded £5 for boost from 19th Aug as they said we didn't use it (my dad couldn't used have used it over that period because we did ). That was ok of them because we technically did have the srvice available for the few days between the 19th and my Ent ertainment stopping.
